2nd Panorama of Food and Nutrition Security in São Paulo
Sobre o projeto
The 2nd Panorama of Food and Nutrition Security in the City of São Paulo is a publication made from coffee grounds and banana hearts that brings together data and methodologies on Food and Nutrition Security in the city of São Paulo, developed with Citizen Science. The book records an experience of collective construction to strengthen the right to food based on the reality of the territories. Organized by CREN, with support from COMUSAN, ObSANPA and the School of Public Health at USP, the book presents a combination of technical content and visual language. The material was constructed with data collected by young residents of the East Zone in partnership with nutritionists, researchers and public managers. The interviews were conducted house by house, even after the floods that directly affected the communities in February 2025.
