This is a campaign by Unesp whose goal is to ensure the safety of children. The Lucas Law aims to train employees and teachers at schools in Botucatu to provide first aid to young victims of choking.
The proposal also provides for the training of military police officers, municipal guards and reinforces the repertoire of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) teams, in addition to producing graphic materials to instruct employees and parents about this type of airway obstruction.
